What Is a session like?

The first craniosacral session lasts about 75 minutes and includes a health interview. We will discuss your health history and intentions for working together before moving to the table work.

The majority of the session is spent fully-clothed on a massage table receiving light-touch holds. Clients generally lie on their backs, but can also lie on their sides or seated in a chair. It is important that clients feel comfortable so that they can fully relax and be present to the session.

Follow-up sessions are about 70 minutes and include a shorter conversation before and after the tablework. I usually give a gentle recommendation for future work together based upon your health goals.

Rates

70 Minute Session - $160 cash/check, +$5 fee for credit cards

It is important to me that my work is accessible to those who need it. I can sometimes offer additional financial aid if needed, based on first-come-first-served basis. Please send me an email before your session to discuss further discounts if needed.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, late arrivals, and no-shows will be liable for the cost of the full session.

I am waiving cancellation fees due to Covid-19 symptoms.

Everyone responds differently to craniosacral work. While some may feel immediately better, some may experience a brief term period of deep exhaustion or body tenderness as it takes the body time to fully process the experience of the session.

I recommend setting aside some personal time to integrate the session- journaling, a bath, rest, or even mindful embodiment while doing physical activity can be helpful to further the results of the session into daily life.

What should I expect after a session?

How Often Should I Come?

How many craniosacral sessions you do is up to you.

Because each person brings their own unique set of experiences to the session, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Because of this, biodynamic craniosacral therapy offers the opportunity to continually peel back layers of healing to continue towards deep and sustained change. Therefore, multiple sessions can provide the most potential for transformation.

At the end of the first session, I will give you a recommendation for how much and how often I think we should work together based upon your current health to receive the maximum benefit from the work.
